Welcome to the National Severe Weather Network!
We are a team of volunteers from various backgrounds; including but not limited to: meteorology, military, public safety, law enforcement, and emergency management. Our goal is to prepare, warn, and educate the public on severe weather. We obtain our information from various government sources and pass on watches, warnings, and other information to prepare you for severe weather occurrences.
We support the National Weather Service’s mission of a Weather Ready Nation and encourage you to join us in our goal: keeping the public safe when severe weather threatens.
Services We Provide
- Rebroadcasting of NWS, SPC, NHC, and other government (national, state, and local) watches, warnings, advisories, and statements related to severe weather and it’s impact on a certain location, and any action being recommended or ordered.
- Rebroadcasting of educational material in order to create a more Weather Ready Nation.
- Provide live radar analysis and guidance to severe weather spotters and/or severe weather chasers.
- Give live video, audio and/or typed status reports for severe weather events as they impact a certain area.
